With a targeted PR campaign, Brand. Kiosk establishes an international standing for the officially recognised school of Visual Arts. The strategic planning and implementation of the international trade and consumer press campaign are hinged on the Academy’s unmistakable educational programme as well as specific student projects developed in cooperation with a coterie of internationally recognised artists and design.
With “Volumetric Clothing” the Academy of Visual Arts, Frankfurt presents a visualization method that redefines how the wearing of clothing is visually experienced. Using an innovative method of information design, in which clothing and body movement are combined live in a video installation, the student Florin Weber creates a unique clothing experience.
The project »EURYPAN« wants to capture and challenge the currently-on-trial European identity primarily in its cultural and narrative diversity. Initiated by the directors of the Academy of Visual Arts, Frankfurt, Seyyal and Tomaso Carnet and published in cooperation with Trademark Publishing, the artistic-interdisciplinary designed periodical searches for concrete ways, to bring this diversity closer to people and strengthen the unity of this construction with the dipiction of Europe’s diversity.
Seyyal Carnetto, artistic and executive Co-Director of the state-approved Academy of Visual Arts, Frankfurt investigates the political facts of the genocide of the Armenians employing the mediums language and graphics. With the use of the method of „transnotation“, Carnetto in her publication sounds out the conflicting realms of bureaucracy and poetry as well as the interrelations of language and society in a surprising way.
