Stockholm-based design brand Hem‘s ambition is to manufacture high-end and unique designs of the highest quality, creating a new generation of furniture, accessories and lighting. For the premium collection, the young design brand is collaborating with the world’s leading designers. For Hem, Brand. Swedish design brand Hem is introducing its first decorative accessory collection, produced in collaboration with Modern Design Review. In line with Hem’s ethos of making unique products with lasting value, the collection has been developed with the purpose of promoting strong independent creative voices, studio-based production processes and creating extraordinary objects.
This April during Milan Design Week, Stockholm-based design brand Hem will unveil a table fit to “jump on”; a brief given to London-based designer Max Lamb when he was asked to conjure up Max Table, the latest addition to the brand’s expanding portfolio.
During this year’s Stockholm Furniture Fair the Swedish brand Hem is launching their first novelty in 2019 in their showroom: the Rope Rug by French designer Pauline Deltour who has previously collaborated with Hem on a range of accessories. The Rope Rug is a contemporary take on traditional carpet crafts using familiar weaving methods and unexpected materials to create functional and beautiful pieces. Pauline Deltour experimented with 25 different methods of braiding before she arrived at the final design.
