FRITZ HANSEN PRESENTS THE PLANNER COFFEE TABLE BY PAUL MCCOBB

The danish manufacturer Republic of Fritz Hansen is delighted to welcome an icon of American design history to its collection of timeless furniture: the coffee table from the Planner group series by the American designer Paul McCobb from 1953. With the new edition of the Planner coffee table, Paul McCobb, one of the leading designers of the American mid-century design, becomes part of the design family of Republic of Fritz Hansen. The Planner Group side table is characterized by its slim and clear silhouette: a thin marble table top rests on a slender steel frame. In line with the design philosophy of Paul McCobb, there is a perfect balance between both elements of the table. A special detail is the rejuvenation of the table legs towards the floor – a slender detail, typical for the work of Paul McCobb.

The Planner side tables are available from September 2018 in three different sizes with two different marble surfaces.
