THE ORIGINS OF KARIMOKU NEW STANDARD

Japanese furniture brand Karimoku New Standard has launched a series of brand videos, giving insights into the origin of KNS, its production methods and design approach and the collaborations with international designers.

This third episode is dedicated to the design and development process and the innovative ideas that the internationally acclaimed designers bring to the table. Creative Director of KNS, David Glaettli, has invited Berlin-based design duo Geckeler Michels to talk about Karimoku’s expertise in wood craftsmanship, the potential of the KNS collection for the contract market as well as their new design, the Fence Sofa.
