Tivoli Gardens

Located in the heart of Copenhagen next to City Hall, Tivoli Gardens has enchanted visitors since 1843, making it one of the world’s oldest amusement parks. Founded by Georg Carstensen, Tivoli combines more than 30 rides with beautiful gardens, concerts, ballet, restaurants, and seasonal experiences.

More than an amusement park, Tivoli is a cultural icon and Denmark’s most visited tourist attraction. For more than 180 years, it has brought international influences to Copenhagen through architecture, gardens, food, scenography, and artistic storytelling—while remaining rooted in Danish tradition.
