Brand.Kiosk ❤️ the postmodern architecture of the BEST buildings by James Wines / SITE (Sculpture in the Environment). Throughout the 70s and 80s, SITE deconstructed the idea of the big box store by designing a series incredible sculptural structures that later became icons of postmodern architecture.

Whenever the Notch Building in Sacramento, California opened for business the corner of the box would break away from the main structure and slide out to reveal an entrance.

Entire sections of the exterior of the Inside/Outside Building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin were deconstructed to reveal the constructional and mechanical details inside the building.
