Fritz Hansen X Leyla Piedayesh

The German fashion designer and founder of the Lala Berlin fashion label Leyla Piedayesh joins Fritz Hansen to celebrate a stunning new dimension of colours and textiles for the iconic Series 7 chairs by Arne Jacobsen. Fritz Hansen presents new front upholstery for the Series 7 chairs that match the new colours that have been developed in collaboration with Carla Sozzani in 2020.

Leyla Piedayesh has previously worked with Fritz Hansen for a reinterpretation of the iconic Serie 7 chair in velvet. For this new collaboration, she picked her favorite colour combination and shares her personal views on the perception of different colours:

“For me, Yellow embodies positivity, light, and life. The chair’s rich yellow blends in perfectly with my home decor. It corresponds with my art pieces – especially my favorite artwork from a berlin based artist and friend, Hoosen3000.”
