"weaving colours": Maison Rhizomes exhibits in Munich

Last weekend, Maison Rhizomes presented its artworks for the first time in Munich. The studio, based in Berlin and Provence, is known for its hand-made art rugs, inspired by paintings and created in collaboration with international artists. To kick off Munich’s gallery season, Maison Rhizomes presented its artworks with the exhibition “weaving colours”.

In collaboration with SALON c/o, the installation was carefully styled and complemented by selected objects by Berlin-based designer Maj van der Linden. At the heart of the exhibition were hand-knotted art rugs by Belgian artist Charlotte Culot and French painter Ludovic Philippon, showcasing intricate craftsmanship and vibrant colours. The curated exhibition also featured works on paper by Culot, illustrating the creative process behind the rug designs and adding the perfect finishing touches to the concept.

The opening event on Friday evening attracted a great audience and set the tone for a weekend of art and inspiration.
