Throwback: Our clients at 3daysofdesign 2024
It’s a wrap: We look back on the exhibitions and product presentations of our clients Fritz Hansen, Karimoku Case, Garde Hvalsøe, Brokis and Crèation Baumann at this year’s 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen.
With a breathtaking installation, Fritz Hansen transformed the new Opera Park in Copenhagen harbour into a huge outdoor lounge. In collaboration with Cobe Architects, new products by Cecilie Manz and Jaime Hayon were presented in impressive installations in the Vaeksthus and on the neighbouring Paper Island.
Selected items and novelties from the Karimoku Case collections were artfully staged on several floors in The Conary, a 200-year-old townhouse in Frederiksstaden. The joint exhibition “Enter The Salon”, curated by Signe Hytte Studio, combined design, art and poetry to create a unique experience. In addition to the latest furniture designs by Keiji Ashizawa, such as the organic sofa in the entrance area, furniture by Norm Architects made from Zelkova wood with its characteristic warm colour was also on display. This new wood can now be used for all Karimoku Case designs.
High-quality craftsmanship and timeless design were at the centre of the “Crafted to Last” exhibition by Danish design brand Garde Hvalsøe in collaboration with De La Espada. The pieces, carefully selected by Pernille Vest, emphasised the beauty of traditional craftsmanship in the Garde Hvalsøe showroom. A new cabinet with Japanese-inspired Koshi fronts and a beech wood kitchen with zinc panelling were shown for the first time.
Premium light manufacturer Brokis staged its new collections as part of the joint exhibition “Framing” in the impressive setting of the historic Odd Fellow Palace.
Création Baumann, the Swiss textile specialist, presented highlights from its latest collections, including new textiles for acoustic interior planning, as well as popular classics in the historic setting of the royal sculpture collection on Frederikholm Canal.
