Fritz Hansen introduces the Grand Prix™ Editions – a curated series of six iconic Grand Prix™ chairs presented in walnut and premium green leather. For the first time, armrests have also been designed for the Grand Prix™. Arne Jacobsen’s internationally acclaimed 1957 design is characterised by its striking appearance, which has stood the test of time as a bold design.
Jaime Hayon’s Analog table was first created for Fritz Hansen in 2014. A decade later, the organically formed design is expanded with the addition of a coffee and a side table, in the same intriguing form yet on an entirely new scale.
The Caravaggio™ pendant lamp, designed by Cecilie Manz for Fritz Hansen, immediately achieved design icon status when it was launched in 2005, setting a new standard in modern lighting design with its simple, elegant and recognisable form. Fritz Hansen has now updated the popular design in four new colours with a matt finish: Warm Grey, Dusty Green, Patina Green and Rusty Red give the P1, P2 and P3 pendants a modern and subtle Scandinavian flair, contrasting beautifully with the original design’s glossy finish.
When Jaime Hayon designed the Fri™ armchair and stool, he sought openness, softness and simplicity in a comfortable design with a sculptural aesthetic. Together with Fritz Hansen, the renowned Spanish artist and designer extends the series with the 2.5-seater Fri™ sofa, which offers maximum comfort in a minimalist design that effortlessly meets the needs of small and large spaces.
The new Monolit chair by renowned Danish designer Cecilie Manz for Fritz Hansen is the pure expression of an upholstered chair with a high level of seating comfort, which is given a special character by its monolithic form. The backrest acts as a round, protective shell that surrounds the user, creating a personal space.
At this year’s 3daysofdesign, Fritz Hansen presents ISLANDS OF WELLBEING – an exploration of design in architecture. Across three settings for hospitality, workplace and outdoor, the exhibitions will explore the transformative effect of great design in modern architecture. Set in Operaparken, Væksthuset, and Papirøen, these neighbouring locations are the latest architectural developments by Cobe architects, with whom Fritz Hansen is partnering for this year’s 3daysofdesign.

The oiled beech stool with brass details was developed on the basis of a prototype that Utzon made in the 1950s when he designed the Sydney Opera House. It is the only piece of his furniture currently in production.
Fritz Hansen is expanding the Clam™ lighting collection in original Danish design with new models for dining and living rooms.
The impressive craftsmanship of Clam is now evident in a new table and floor lamp, made from the same brushed brass and opal glass as the original pendant lamps in the series. The new designs combine tradition and modernity and are both formally and functionally graceful – suitable for creating beautiful and enlightening accents in a variety of settings.
Tradition was designed by Povl B. Eskildsen, a Danish designer known for his graphic simplicity, for Fritz Hansen and comprises a collection of modular garden furniture in beautiful teak. Tradition brings the simple sophistication and inherent function of Danish design to the outdoors. The range is carefully handcrafted from FSC™-certified teak, chosen for its beauty, robustness and durability. The combination of design and materials sets new standards in comfort and beauty for the outdoor lounge experience.
